After installation of second Finesse server(Secondary), Finesse does not come into service

Symptom:
After installation of second Finesse server(Secondary), Finesse does not come into serviceConditions:
The pass phrase file is missing and this prevents Finesse from connecting to Openfire

Cisco Finesse not switching from Primary UCCX to backup UCCX Subscriber , when the primary is down it should automatically switch to secondary and when primary is up it should automatically switch to primary without disconnection.

 

 

Workaround:
The workaround is to copy the pass phrase file from node 1 to node 2 and restart the Notification Service and Tomcat.
This requires root access.
1. Enable root access on both the nodes( if it is not enabled)
2. Stop Cisco Finesse Notification Service and Cisco Finesse Tomcat.
3. copy /opt/cisco/desktop/openfire/passphrase from node 1 to node 2 to the same location.
4. Start Cisco Finesse Notification Service and Cisco Finesse Tomcat.
